At First Baptist Church we seek to fulfill our purpose through a wide variety of ministries. Our weekly ministries include Sunday School and Wednesday Night Youth Group.

Sunday School takes place Sundays from 9:00am to 10:00am. Sunday School is divided up between Junior High students and Senior High students. It combines in-depth Bible studies with class participation. They are directed at encouraging the teen to enjoy, think, and apply the lesson. Not just on Sunday, but in life! There is always something new going on in Sunday School. The studies usually run on a quarterly basis. They included topical studies, character studies, and book studies. The studies this year include Genesis, Baptist Distinctives, John, and choices. The Junior High will be covering The Church, Self Concept, The Ten Commandments, and Handling Problems.

Wednesday Night Youth Group brings things down to a little more personal level. We meet from 6:45pm to 8:15pm. There are games and various activities to start the evening. After some fun, there is a practical lesson leading into some small group discussions. The night finishes up with prayer. Sometimes that means in small groups, or with a friend, or even some silent prayer one-on-one with God. This school year, the Senior High Youth will be studying through a number of themes including: ‘Experiencing God’s Will’, ‘All About God’, ‘Building the Complete Christian’, ‘Prophecy’, and ‘Summer Fruits’. The Junior High will be participating in the JV AWANA program.
