The Purpose of the Youth Ministry at First Baptist Church is to use the resources God has graciously provided us to prepare and develop teenagers to be ready to enter the independent stage of their life dependent on God.

·   Growth that comes from the learning and applying of God's Word and God's will through teaching, preaching, discipleship, and personal / congregational worship CENTERED on the Word of God

·   Through: First Baptist Services, Sunday School, Wednesday Night Youth Group, One-Day Bible Conferences, 'Root Works' Bible Studies

Ready to CONNECT

·   Connection that comes from starting and building healthy, deep, lasting friendships and relationships with fellow young people here (and even the adults) here at First Baptist

·   Through: SNACs, Event participation, and Retreats

Ready to SERVE

·   Service that seeks to help others through a variety of ministries here at First Baptist Church and with other like-minded churches and ministries.

·   Through: First Baptist ministries, Vacation Bible School, RTS Service team, Youth Choir/Puppet Outreaches, Talents for Christ

Ready to REACH

·   Outreach through individual and group Evangelism, including recognizing the unique opportunities each young person has to shine the light of the gospel in the unique places God has put them, through their life and through the Word

·   Through: Evangelism training, Inviting friends to First Baptist Outreach Events, Youth Canvassing, FBC Fair Ministry, and our Summer Youth Mission Trip (STEM)
